If you or your organization are interested in applying for membership with NAMCCA, we encourage you to read on to understand our requirements. In order to be eligible for our membership you or the organization by which you are employed must possess a website that provides entirely online medical certification examination and/or learning courses. This website may be endorsed or accredited by other organizations but this is not a requirement. The website also must provide a way for those to complete the course/exam online. If your exam or course is designed to be finished by a physical exam or fax completion, you will not be accepted.

The process by which our survey group reviews new applicants is unique. Each potential candidate is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and according to what the applicant provides in the initial membership request form below. Consideration of a new potential member rests entirely on the details provided in the membership request form. Each form will be carefully examined by one of our lower-level survey group administrators. If our representative feels your website meets or exceeds the requirements of our organization, your application will then be reviewed by a senior survey group administrator to determine your potential induction and endorsement. Application review and follow up to potential members can take 6 months or longer depending on a variety of factors. Do not send more than one membership application request as it will be discarded and not reviewed. We highly recommend you provide a thorough initial application in order to have the best possibility of being accepted.

One of the main criteria that will be closely examined is how similair an applicants' course/exam follow the top off-line programs that are accepted by trusted/accreditation organizations. While we understand there are certain circumstances that will make an online exam/course unique, endorsement will only be rewarded to those that follow the most current instructional material provided and cover the major points tested upon.
